The electric commuter train between Montréal and Deux-Montagnes is operated by Canadian National Railways on behalf of the Agence Metropolitaine de Transport. While all outbound trains terminate at Deux-Montagnes, one inbound train per day originates at Bois-Franc and two per day originate at Roxboro/Pierrefonds. The Downtown terminus is Central Station. Stops are made at Canora, Mont-Royal, Montpellier, du Ruisseau, Bois-Franc, Sunnybrooke, Roxboro/Pierrefonds, Ile-Bigras, Sainte-Dorothée, Grand-Moulin and Deux-Montagnes. The January 1998 ice storm had its effect on the commuter line just like everything else with only partial service on January 6 and 7. When the line was modernized in 1995 new equipment was put into service which was manufactured by Bombardier. |
