Doney Spur pictures - August 17, 2021 While returning home from work, James Hay and myself stopped to take photographs of the Doney Spur's west end.
At Doyan Avenue looking east toward Delmar Avenue. Another picture looking eastward. A picture looking west toward the back of the Terrarium shopping centre from Doyan Avenue. This was the location of the run around track used by the local wayfreights at this end of the spur. Notice that the Home Depot is in the background and the trailers that are in photographs below. Another picture looking west. Looking east again. Note what is left of the run-around track on the east side. Rue Holiday at Davis Avenue looking east - note the Dupont warehouse and the remmants of the old warehouse spur track just to the right of the building. Looking at the old right of way from Rue Holiday. The trailers are parked on the old right of way. Standing next to the building just east of the Terrarium shopping centre just south of Rue Holiday looking eastward along the right of way. Looking west to the back of the Home Depot under construction. The building in the background is the Pointe Claire Holiday Inn. Another picture of the Home Depot under construction. Looking from Rue Holiday toward Hymus Boulevard along the back of the shopping centre. Another view of the Home Depot under construction from Rue Holiday looking southwest. .
